Three days of festivities marked our 25th reunion. On Thursday, July 2008, several classmates met to hear Brian Wright's band play at the Italian Club. Former exchange student Freddy Baharona joined us from Costa Rica. On Friday, classmates and their families enjoyed a great picnic at the home of Dave and Kelly Janofa. Saturday morning Golf at Westview. On Saturday evening. the traditional reunion at the Elks.
Here is a picture of those who made it to the first hour of the reunion:

This is the first reunion photo where Dayne Popa actually made it into the picture (4th from left in the back row). Others who came too late for the picture: Rob Mehno, Henry Hergenroder, John Zamarelli, and others.

Whatever happen to all of those people? We'd meet the day after Christmas at Hendron's, but after a few years, everyone went their own way. We got together in '93, '98 and '03. It was amazing to see how some of us
have changed and some have remained the same.

15 Year Reunion Recap - September 4th & 5th, 1998
The Rivalry Continues
Head coach and class mate Dave Janofa started the reunion off with a bang. In the last scheduled game between Salem and West Branch, Salem prevailed for a 21-19 victory. Defensive coach Rob Mehno was quick to point out that the winning touchdown was scored by the defense, as they ran an interception back 30 yards for the final touchdown. After the game, classmates met at the Elks for Pizza.
Golf Outing
Team Slocum won the golf outing Saturday morning with an impressive 4 under par. Two dozen classmates enjoyed a beautiful morning of golf.
Dinner and Dancing
70+ classmates and spouses met for a buffet dinner at Timberlanes on Saturday night.
Southeast Elementary alumni were happy to see that Kirk Steves traveled all the way from Kansas for the reunion, marking the longest travel that night. Kim Goodchild Chapman won the 50-50 raffle. Rob Mehno was awarded the teddy bear tea pot for his towering drive on the first fairway at golfing. After dinner, John Yutuc broke the ice and started everyone dancing.
Thank you
Thanks to everyone who came back for the 15 year reunion. Special thanks to the committee who made the reunion a reality: Kelly Finch Janofa, Chuck DelVichio, Dorothy Irey Wright, Brian Wright, Rob Mehno, Deb Janofa Heath, and Bill Jelen.
